With NFL free agency opening up this week, players across the league are signing life changing deals for higher and higher amounts as the salary cap rises.
Former Alabama center and current Philadelphia Eagle Landon Dickerson is the latest, landing a four-year deal worth up to a maximum of $87 million, with at least $50 million guaranteed.
The contract is the biggest in NFL history for a guard.
Dickerson, who moved to left guard upon his arrival to Philadelphia, has quickly developed into one of the best in football. He is already a 2x pro bowler and was rated as the top interior lineman in the league on running plays, per ESPN’s run-block win rate along with being 4th overall in the league on passing plays.

Dickerson was a key piece of Alabama’s record-setting 2020 offense, winning the Rimington Trophy as the nation’s best center along with being named as a unanimous All-American.
Alabama’s 2020 offensive line also won the Joe Moore Award, given to the best unit in the nation.
Dickerson suffered a season-ending injury late during the 2020 season, but still dressed for the national championship game against Ohio State and took the final snap of the season, a kneel-down to clinch Alabama’s 18th title.
