The Alabama Forestry Association has endorsed Associate Justice Will Sellers for re-election to the Alabama Supreme Court. Sellers is seeking a second term.
In making the endorsement, AFA President and CEO Chris Isaacson cited Sellers’ “scholarly approach” and following rule of law.
“Judge Sellers’ scholarly approach to his work on the bench has further confirmed his unwavering commitment to following the rule of law and ensuring that the judicial branch of government stays in its lane.” said Isaacson. “AFA is proud to endorse him for a second term on the Alabama Supreme Court.”
Sellers noted the importance of forestry to the Yellowhammer State and saidhe was appreciative for the support of the group.
“Alabama’s forest product industry is a critical part of Alabama’s economy,” Sellers said. “When I was in private practice, I had a number of clients from large corporations to small timber owners, so I know firsthand how deep the roots of the timber industry are in Alabama. To have been endorsed for yet a second time by the Alabama Forestry Association is an honor. I’m deeply grateful for this strong show of support.
“I will continue to do my part to make certain Alabama courts follow the rule of law, so we have the most stable legal environment in the nation.”
