Twinkle Cavanaugh is no stranger to the Alabama Public Service Commission, having been elected to the commission in 2010 and then elected its president in 2012.
Now, in her drive to be re-elected as president of the group, she picked up an endorsement from the Alabama Forestry Association.
“During her tenure with the Public Service Commission, Twinkle has been a true leader for our state,” said Chris Isaacson, association president and CEO. “She believes in sound energy policy and is committed to conservative governance.
“AFA is a strong supporter of all Twinkle does to keep Alabama a great place to live and work.”
Cavanaugh thanked the AFA for the endorsement and stressed the group’s importance.
“The Alabama Forestry Association and its members serve among our state’s largest and best providers of jobs and economic activity,” Cavanaugh said. “Their work helps communities across Alabama thrive, and their products make our lives better.
“I’m honored to receive this endorsement from my friends at AFA who represent an industry vital to Alabama’s success.”
The primary is March 5, 2024.
