Alabama Crimson Tide coach Kalen DeBoer’s recruiting machine has been firing on all cylinders in recent weeks, landing multiple five-star prospects and new commitments nearly every day.
The Tide now boast more five-star pledges than any other program in the country for the Class of 2026, climbing into the top 10 nationally after adding nine recruits in June — eight of them in just the past two weeks.
Tide fans aren’t the only ones taking notice either.
During a discussion on ‘McElroy and Cubelic in the Morning’, SEC analyst and one of the voices of college football Paul Finebaum spoke about the run DeBoer is on and compared it to that of one Nick Saban.
NEW: Paul Finebaum on Kalen DeBoer’s recruiting success at Alabama:

“Quite frankly, this is one of the great recruiting runs we’ve seen in some years. It almost feels like Nick Saban is running the ship again when it comes to recruiting because this is vintage Alabama recruiting,” Finebaum said. “I think when we saw this transition two and a half years ago, I think a lot of people doubted Alabama could come back to this particular moment in time. But it is here and I think it bodes extremely well for Alabama in the future.”
On Wednesday, DeBoer landed another five-star in state product in Benjamin Russell’s sensational wide receiver Cederian Morgan, even further boosting this class up.
With additions over the last several weeks even before Morgan including five-star running back Ezavier Crowell and five-star linebacker Xavier Griffin as well as four-star tight end Mack Sutter, the future is looking bright in Tuscaloosa.
