The Southeastern Conference on Tuesday announced some of the football games that will be broadcast on ESPN affiliates, including the SEC Network, during the 2020 regular season.
The SEC is set to play a 10-game, conference-only schedule this year, with September 26 as the kickoff date.
Kickoff times and networks were announced on Tuesday by ESPN for the first two weeks of the season and selected games were announced for three additional Saturdays later in the year.
This came soon after CBS the same day announced the majority of their SEC schedule for 2020.
The conference had requested “that its television partners make advanced game selections where possible prior to the start of the season to assist the Conference and schools with planning and logistics,” per the SEC.
For any games not chosen before September 26, the normal 12- or six-day selection process will be used during the season.
Per ESPN’s announcement, Alabama will have at least two games this season on affiliated networks. The Tide will be broadcast on ESPN for the game at Missouri on the opening day of play at 6:00 p.m. CT. Mississippi State at Alabama on October 31 at 6:00 p.m. will be televised on SEC Network.
Meanwhile, Auburn will have at least three ESPN-affiliated games this season: Kentucky at Auburn on September 26 at 11:00 a.m. CT; Auburn at Georgia at 6:30 p.m. CT on October 3; and Auburn at South Carolina on October 17 at a time and on a ESPN network both yet to be determined.
