Auburn is going to get another spectacular event coming to The Plains this summer with country music superstar Ella Langley coming to play two nights at Neville Arena, but fans who want to attend are going to have to save up.
The University relayed earlier this week that Langley’s team announced a 21-show extension of The Dandelion Tour this summer, which includes a two-night show at Neville Arena on August 28 and August 29.
Tickets being purchased directly from the source do not go on presale until later this week with general on-sale beginning on Friday, June 26 at 10 a.m. CT. If folks want an early start on making sure they lock up their tickets, secondary market prices are absolutely insane right now.
As of Wednesday morning on StubHub, $475 seems to be the cheapest it would be to get in the building for seats in the upper deck — floor seats are going for more than $1,200.
“Bringing Ella Langley to Neville Arena is a special opportunity for Auburn,” said Rhett Hobart, Auburn Deputy Athletics Director for External Affairs and Chief Revenue Officer in the announcement of the concert. “As one of country music’s fastest-rising stars and a former Auburn University student, Ella has a connection to this community that makes this event particularly meaningful. We are proud to partner with Peachtree Entertainment to welcome her back to The Plains and provide our students, fans and community with an unforgettable live entertainment experience while continuing to establish Auburn as a premier destination for live events in the southeast.”
Langley becomes the fourth concert announced at Auburn in an ongoing partnership with Peachtree Entertainment, joining fellow country superstar Zach Bryan who will play at Jordan-Hare Stadium coming up in October.
Perhaps fans will have some better luck buying directly from Langley’s website, but it seems this is an extremely high demand show and one to where folks will have to pony up if they want to get in the door.
