Dale Strong earns top marks for border security – ranks in elite 3% of congress

U.S. Rep. Dale Strong has worked tirelessly to secure the Southern border and protect Americans from the effects of mass illegal immigration since first entering office in 2023.

Now, Strong’s hard work is being recognized by NumbersUSA, the nation’s leading anti-illegal immigration advocacy organization.

The group gave Huntsville’s representative an A+, making him one of 15 members in Congress to receive a 96% or higher on their scorecard for the 118th Congress – placing him in the top 3% of U.S. Representatives and Senators.

“I was sent to Congress to fight for commonsense, America-First policies,” said Strong (R-Monrovia), a member of the House Homeland Security Committee. “Americans deserve an immigration system that prioritizes their interests and public safety above all else. Make no mistake, we are under invasion because of the Biden-Harris Administration’s open border policies. I look forward to working with President Trump to finish border wall construction, end taxpayer-funded benefits for illegal aliens, and launch the largest deportation operation in American history.”

Strong’s NumbersUSA grade is also the highest in Alabama’s congressional delegation. Recently he has stepped up his already-substantial efforts.

In September, the Congressman sent a letter to the Department of Homeland Security Secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas, inquiring about current immigration policies and expressing concerns about a rise in illegal immigrants in his home district.

Additionally, during the month of November, Strong filed the Deport Illegal Voters Act to expedite the removal of aliens convicted of voting illegally. The legislation adds unlawful voting to the defined list of aggravated felonies under the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) and provides for the expedited deportation of convicted individuals.

Alabama’s federal delegation received varied scores from NumbersUSA. U.S. Senator Katie Britt scored 92%, followed by U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer (90%), U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (90%), Reps. Barry Moore (89%), Mike Rogers (83%), and Robert Aderholt and Jerry Carl, both at 70%.

Alabama’s only federal Democrat, Rep. Terri Sewell received a 0%.

NumbersUSA monitors members’ voting records and co-sponsorship of legislation that secures the border and combats illegal migration.
