While remaining in the heat of the race in his campaign for the U.S. Senate, Roy Moore has not enjoyed some of the high-profile endorsements his competitors have received. However, Moore’s latest endorsement is from celebrity Chuck Norris, aka Walker Texas Ranger.

According to WKRG, Norris announced his support for Moore in a statement saying:

“Judge Roy Moore is the real deal: He’s tough, tested, and has a spine of steel. The Washington establishment knows they won’t be able to count on him, but Alabama voters can. Judge Moore has never backed down from standing for what is right, and that’s exactly what he’ll do in the U.S Senate. That’s why the Washington establishment is spending millions trying to defeat Judge Moore.”

Moore expressed his gratitude for Norris’s support:

“Chuck Norris is exactly the kind of guy you want on your side, and I’m honored to have his support as we continue this fight to take our Alabama values to Washington.”

Norris is no stranger to the political arena. A firebrand conservative, he has endorsed several Republican candidates over the years, including Donald Trump. As a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he is often an active supporter of veterans organizations and initiatives. Norris also continually advocates for the same conservative Christian values touted by Moore.

Norris’ endorsement comes days after popular conservative pundits Sean Hannity and Laura Ingram announced their support of Mo Brooks, while Strange enjoys the backing of influential groups like the National Rifle Association and the National Right to Life.
