Most people know that Bryce Young was a superstar at the University of Alabama. They also may know that he has signed one of the highest-paying NFL rookie contracts ever.
One thing that doesn’t come to mind, however, when you think of the quarterback, is DoorDash. No, he didn’t score some major NIL deal with the company while in Tuscaloosa.
According to Bleacher Report, Young worked as a DoorDash delivery employee, scraping together some extra cash while in school.
“I did that for a while,” Young said. “Kind of, I guess, from when I got there and got my feet on the ground as far as – when I first got there I was just learning the playbook. I guess after that, when we went back from COVID, I was driving for Door Dash.”

He says he’d wear a mask and hoodie and only accept ‘drop it at my door’ orders so people wouldn’t recognize him ?

Young, wanting to conceal his identity, said he had his own method of delivery.
“Honestly, I would have a mask on and a hoodie, then I would only really accept drop-it-at-my-door orders, so for the most part I never really got recognized or anything,” he said.
“It was before NIL, so I just wanted to have a little extra money.”
