In big news for his campaign to become the next Chief Justice of Alabama, Bryan Taylor today announced that Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, President Donald Trump’s first National Security Advisor, and Veterans for Trump, a political organization funded by the Save America PAC., have both endorsed him.
“I wholeheartedly endorse Bryan Taylor for Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court,” said Lt. Gen Michael Flynn. “Bryan is exactly the kind of leader and judge that our country needs right now in such an important position.”
“Throughout Bryan‘s 22 years of service in the military, and in his private practice, he has demonstrated steadfast devotion to upholding the Rule of Law and protecting and defending the Constitution.”
Flynn said that Taylor will stand up for true conservative values.
“He will lead the courts with integrity and apply the law as written. Without reservation, I fully support Bryan Taylor for Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, and I urge you to do the same.”

Leadership from Veterans for Trump touted Taylor’s refusal to play politics.
“Bryan will rule based on the law, not politics, and stop the weaponized use of the justice system against conservatives,” Stan Fitzgerald, president of Veterans for Trump/Veterans for America First, declared.
Taylor, in response, expressed his deep gratitude towards Lt. Gen. Flynn and his fellow veterans for their support.
“I’m grateful to General Flynn for his endorsement, and I’m incredibly humbled to have such overwhelming support from my fellow veterans,” Taylor said. “As Chief Justice, I will continue to be a warrior for freedom, standing up for the liberties enshrined in our Constitution and standing against the weaponization of our courts for political or personal gain.”
“I will apply the law as written, uphold the Constitution, and never legislate my own agenda from the bench.”
Since entering the race, Taylor has made expanding veterans’ treatment courts a major focus of his campaign.
“Some courts in Alabama are doing a great job using the Veterans’ Treatment Court model to help connect veterans in need with services already available to them,” Taylor explained. “Too many veterans have fallen through the cracks into the justice system. VTC programs are proven to avoid unnecessary incarceration and put veterans on a path to success.”
“Every county should have one.”
An Iraq War veteran, Taylor is a former military prosecutor and a retired Army Judge Advocate. He was awarded the Bronze Star for his service in Iraq from 2003 to 2004.
