Bruce Pearl says to not expect legendary shirtless celebration if Tigers win

The Auburn men’s basketball team is just days away from the biggest game in the history of the program. The Tigers are set to take on the Florida Gators in the Final Four for the right to advance to their first-ever national title game.

Auburn Head Coach Bruce Pearl has taken the program from being in the basement of the SEC to now being one of the best teams in the entire country, earning two trips to college basketball’s biggest stage since 2019.

Not only is Pearl one of the best coaches in the sport, he may also be one of the funniest and most personable as well. Over the years, Pearl has become known for ripping his shirt off after a big win or in support of Tigers football. However, Auburn fans hoping to see that version of Pearl after a big win this weekend may be disappointed as the head coach shared Tuesday in an interview that his wife has told him to stop the nonsense:

“My wife has said, enough already with this taking your shirt off, America has seen quite enough of that bad body, that’s actually the incredible bulk, not the incredible hulk,” Pearl quipped.

Hopefully, the Tigers secure the massive victory. Just don’t count on Pearl’s shirt coming off this time around.
