Bruce Pearl roasts the DNC for ousting of Biden – ‘So much for free and fair elections’

With the Democratic National Convention getting kicked off this week and President Joe Biden speaking, many on the left have tried to frame Biden’s ‘decision’ to step aside as a selfless move by an aging president rather than an ousting by the powers that be in the Democratic Party.

On CNN, however, Chris Wallace pointed out the ridiculousness of this narrative, saying that Biden got thrown out a window rather than ‘stepping aside.’

“He got thrown out of window and basically he was forced, you know, there’s going to be a lot of talk tonight about how generous it was with him, to and and selfless of him,” Wallace said. “He was basically forced out by Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama and Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries. And I suspect even the fact that there has been this surge of enthusiasm since he left and Kamala Harris took his place — that’s got to be pretty tough, too. You got thrown out of a window, and everybody’s applauding the person who’s now in the room.”

Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl, who is never shy about sharing political thoughts to his X account, had thoughts on this as well.

“So much for free and fair elections, saving our country and preserving freedom and democracy,” Pearl wrote in response to Wallace’s rant. “Joe Biden couldn’t win so they made a pitching change! Joe Biden said only if he heard from God would he quit..well he heard from the same people who in 2020 relieved Bernie Sanders!”

Harris is scheduled to officially accept the nomination sometime this week in Chicago.
