The winter edition of Birmingham Restaurant Week (BRW) presented by Spire will begin on Thursday, February 22nd and go through Sunday, March 3rd. Over 50 locally-owned restaurants, food trucks, and bars will participate.
The event will bring customers the opportunity to indulge in multiple course meals at a prix-fixe price throughout the course of the 10 days.
During the week, one new addition to the event is the food truck pop-up park which will be active on both weekends (Friday-Saturday, Feb. 23-24 and Friday-Saturday, March 1-2 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m).
There is also a BRW preview party taking place this week on Tuesday, February 20th as well as “Wineology” after the fact on Tuesday, March 5th.
The goal of Birmingham Restaurant Week is to “promote locally owned restaurants and provide assistance to them where we are able to.”
“The vibrancy of our culinary community depends on our unique restaurants and dining establishments. So we are doing what we can to make sure as many people in our community as possible know about all of the great new places to eat and even offer them some deals at the places they already frequent,” said BRW co-founder and owner of Style Advertising Bill Stoeffhaas.
