While laughing about being born in the United States before being raised in Turkey, Piker described his family’s strategy in a clip that immediately went viral.

Now, with the Supreme Court leaving a potential path for Congress to act and Senator Katie Britt calling for legislative changes, birthright citizenship is back at the center of the immigration debate.
