Birmingham-based contractor Robins & Morton continues expansion of national footprint

Robins & Morton, a privately held construction company based in Birmingham with offices located regionally across the Southeast, announced this week that it was breaking ground on a new construction site in Jupiter, Fla.

The company has partnered with Jupiter Medical Center to build a new state-of-the-art two-story 90,000-square-foot Surgical Institute.

Dr. Amit Rastogi, CEO of Jupiter Medical Center, stated, “We are expanding at Jupiter Medical Center and are grateful to have Robins & Morton as a partner during this development.”

The new medical center will have 16 state-of-the-art operating rooms and two hybrid operating rooms to support the latest advancements in surgical technologies and techniques. Also included will be private consultation rooms, an outdoor terrace and dedicated waiting room for patients’ families. There will be improved staff workrooms, nurse stations and offices to help the staff serve patients and attract top talent from the health care community.

Jonathan Peavy, operations manager for Robins and Morton said in a release, “[W]e are honored that Jupiter Medical Center has entrusted us as a partner in their mission to provide comprehensive and advanced surgical care to Palm Beach and Martin counties. We’re excited to start construction and look forward to delivering a first-class facility to the community in 2023.”
