Barry Moore, Jerry Carl criticize Biden’s ‘weakness’ on Iran

U.S. Reps. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) and Jerry Carl (R-Mobile) are calling on the Biden administration to get tougher on Iran following the recent attack against Israel.

Iran launched hundreds of unmanned suicide drones and missiles against the state of Israel Saturday, in an unprecedented strike against the Jewish nation.

According to reports, President Joe Biden is cautioning Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu against escalating the conflict, telling him to instead “take the win.”

Carl believes this kind of approach will only strengthen Iran.

“Iran is taking advantage of Biden’s weak leadership on the global stage by attacking Israel,” Carl said on X. “Our unwavering support is vital against these evil attacks. [House GOP] will always stand with Israel.”

Moore also blasted the Biden administration for “emboldening” the terrorist regime.

“President Biden’s policy of appeasement to Iran to please his radical voter base emboldened them to commit another horrific attack on Israel,” Moore said in a statement. “These pieces of legislation lock down the $10 billion Biden made available to Iran, bring back the oil sanctions Biden refuses to enforce, and sanction the finances of Iranian leaders. It’s past time to stop giving immunity to terrorists who seek to end Israel’s existence.”

Moore voted in favor of H.R. 5921, H.R. 5923, H.R. 6245, H.R. 6015 and H.R. 6408, a series of bills that hold Iran financially accountable for their horrific attacks on Israel.
