Fresh off his national win, American Idol champion Jamal Roberts will bring his signature soulful vocals to Atmore for a free concert during the Bee More Summer Festival on Saturday, June 14. The performance will take place at Boxcar Willie, located at 207 West Ridgeley Street in the city’s Arts & Entertainment District.
Roberts, who captured hearts across America during the recent season of the hit singing competition, is slated to take the stage at 4 p.m., capping off a full day of family-friendly entertainment.

Festivalgoers can expect a lively schedule starting at noon, including live music, line dancing, a foam machine, mechanical bull rides, face painting, and local food and craft vendors. Caricatures by Kathy and a range of food trucks will also be on site.
The Bee More Summer Festival is presented by the City of Atmore and Main Street Atmore. Organizers say the event is designed to celebrate the community and showcase the city’s growing arts and entertainment offerings.
The performance continues a tradition of high-profile appearances at Boxcar Willie, which hosted American Idol runner-up Will Moseley in 2024.
