ALFA endorses timber industry executive Heath Allbright in House District 11 race

Heath Allbright, a Cullman area businessman with Holly Pond Roots, has been endorsed by the Alabama Farmers Federation in the upcoming special election for the state’s House District 11 seat. On Thursday, the organization issued its support for Allbright in a press release that also featured praise from local agricultural leaders.

“I am honored to have the endorsement of the Alabama Farmers Federation,” Allbright said. “They represent a strong work ethic and the honesty and integrity that the people of House District 11 are known for having.”

Cullman County Farmers Federation President Lee Haynes feels that if elected, Allbright will work hard for those in his district.

“Heath Allbright has served us well in the past, and he will work hard for us in the Legislature to make sure the people of this county are represented well in Montgomery.”

Blount County Farmers Federation President Jeff Maze believes the Holly Pond native’s professional background would be a major asset for his constituents.

“Heath Allbright has a strong work ethic. He knows the needs of fellow farmers and businesses of Blount County, and he will work hard for us in Montgomery,” Maze said.

Allbright was also recently endorsed by Alabama Lt. Governor Will Ainsworth and The Alabama Forestry Association.

He graduated from Holly Pond High School and received his associates degree in agricultural science from Snead State Community College. Allbright has served two terms on the Cullman County School Board, with his last term ending in December 2024. He owns Brighton Forestry Services, a timber company doing business in north Alabama and eastern Mississippi.

According to the governor’s office, the special primary election is on May 13, 2025; the special primary runoff, if necessary, is on June 10, 2025, and the special general election is on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
