The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) has announced its participation in the 2025 American Association of State Troopers’ (AAST) Best-Looking Cruiser Contest. The annual competition invites entries from state law enforcement agencies across the country, with winners earning a spot on the cover of the AAST’s calendar.
This year, ALEA’s entry showcases a Trooper Tahoe and a Camaro, joined by Governor Kay Ivey and Miss America 2025, Abbie Stockard — all representing the state of Alabama.
“This annual contest is a fun way to engage in friendly competition with our fellow state agencies for a good cause,” said ALEA Secretary Hal Taylor. “We are grateful to Governor Ivey, who has always been a strong supporter of law enforcement, and Miss Abbie Stockard who represents the State of Alabama with grace and poise, for being special guests in this year’s photo.”

Voting opened on July 1 and runs through July 11. The winning state will be featured on the cover of the AAST’s 2026 “America’s Best Looking Trooper Cruisers” wall calendar, which goes on sale October 1, 2025. Proceeds from the calendar benefit the AAST Foundation, which provides educational scholarships to dependents of member troopers.
Those wishing to vote can visit the official Survey Monkey link and select Alabama’s cruiser from the dropdown list at the bottom of the form.
