U.S. Senator Katie Britt joined a group of fellow Republican lawmakers in a live town hall format conversation with Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Tuesday. In the segment televised from Capitol Hill, Britt praised Trump and analyzed what some of his recent actions will mean for Americans in the near future.
“Alabama is ready for results, and that’s what they’ve gotten under President Trump,” Britt (R-Montgomery) said. “It’s been promises made, promises kept, and this is just a continuation of that.”
With @POTUS it's been promises made, promises kept.

The Senator turned to the progress being made at the border just a few short months into Trump’s second term and also the expected growth in the defense industry.
“I think it’s exciting to see the progress that the President has already made on the border,” she said. “You had the president, and you had Senate Republicans say, we’re going to actually secure our border, and we’re going to keep Americans safe. You’re going to see more of that in reconciliation, you’re going to see us be able to invest in our defense industry in the way that we need to. ”
Britt’s next point of discussion focused on American energy.
“When you look at 21st-century threats that are coming, now is the time for us to modernize when you look at energy,” Britt stressed. “Everyone in Alabama knows that energy affects everything. When you’re talking about the economy and prices, being able to drive down everything from the gas pump to the grocery store and everything in between unleashing American energy and creating dominance.
“President Trump has a vision, he has a plan, and he has a will to execute, and we’re right there alongside him. And Alabamians are excited.”
