The Alabama Crimson Tide is headed into their biggest challenge of the season this week, but defensive lineman Tim Keenan isn’t worried one bit.
Alabama is playing in the Rose Bowl against the undefeated Indiana Hoosiers, sitting as a touchdown underdog.
To make matters even more difficult, the forecast calls for rain and may turn the game into a slugfest. Something an Alabama team who has struggled to run the ball this season would have pretty serious problems with.
Regardless of the weather, the challenge of facing the No. 1 team in the country, or any of the other adversity that goes along with this game, The Tide believes it is ready.
Defensive lineman Tim Keenan III spoke about the challenge and how it seems everyone is rooting against Alabama, but it doesn’t bother the team at all.
“It’s nothing new. Adversity is very familiar with us, as far as not having anyone root for us,” Keenan III said. “We all we got we all we need. As long as we’ve got God on our side and the ones who really rock with us, then we’ll be just fine.”
This team has used faith as a bonding mechanism all season long through the highs and lows of what has been a true roller coaster, and it seems a trip out west is not changing that fact.
It should be a tremendous game and massive challenge coming up on New Year’s Day, with a trip to the CFP semifinal on the line.
