Palestinian militants operating out of Hamas-occupied Gaza have launched a series of attacks on Israel, signaling a new chapter in the hostilities in the Holy Land that date back to the founding of the nation of Israel.
Alabama leaders are unequivocally voicing their support for the State of Israel and its people.
U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) said Israel has every right to respond with force — “The United States and Alabama stand firmly with Israel as they defend themselves against these barbaric terrorist attacks.”

“Alabama and the United States stands with Israel – our greatest ally, friend, and partner.”
“Israel has every right to defend itself and respond to these vicious terrorist attacks with overwhelming force,” Britt said. “The Biden Administration since January 2021 has consistently empowered and enabled our greatest adversaries, including Iran – Israel’s sworn enemy.”
Britt blamed President Joe Biden’s policies for the deterioration of conditions in the Middle East.
“Make no mistake—the people of Israel are paying the devastating price for President Biden’s $6 billion ransom payment to Iran,” Britt added. “That disastrous deal was announced by the Administration on the anniversary of 9/11, and now Israel is facing its own 9/11 at the hands of Iranian proxies. The Biden Administration’s appeasement put blood in the water, and now it has more blood on its hands.”
Congressman Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) said may God bless Israel.
The State of Israel is under terrorist attack, and I hope you’ll join me in praying for them. I condemn this horrific assault on the people of the Holy Land. May God bless them as they work to defend themselves.https://t.co/KsSq9ehCag

Congressman Gary Palmer (R-AL06) called the attack “barbaric, wicked, and inhumane.”
Today’s premeditated invasion of Israel by the Hamas terrorist group is barbaric, wicked, and inhumane.
When President Biden enables our enemies around the world, our friends suffer.
Today and everyday, the United States must stand with Israel.

Congressman Jerry Carl (R-Mobile) pointed to the Biden Administration’s recent investment in the machine attacking Israel.

Lieutenant Governor Will Ainsworth said he asks Alabamians to join him in praying for Israel and its citizens.
Alabama was the first state in the U.S. to formally recognize Israel as a nation, and in the years since, it has proven to be our country’s most loyal ally in the Middle East. I condemn the Palestinian attack and ask Alabamians to join me in praying for Israel and its citizens.

Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall reflected on a recent visit to Israel.
Just weeks ago, I had the privilege of spending time in Southern Israel. It’s unthinkable to see the devastation that has occurred there at the hands of Hamas. America cannot ever compromise when it comes to our support for Israel & must hold accountable those who finance Hamas. pic.twitter.com/PrIby7KepC

Hundreds of people are dead in Israel and with Israel already retaliating against Hamas in Gaza those numbers are expected to climb substantially.
