As the number of illegal immigrants crossing the southern border continues to grow rapidly with every passing day, one state seems to be experiencing the negative effects of the mass migration more than others.
Texas shares a border with Mexico that stretches over 1,200 miles from the Gulf of México to El Paso. With a border that large, Texas officials have said that the Biden Administration hasn’t done enough to mitigate the unceasing flow of illegals and crime onto Texas land.

Exacerbating the already-tense situation between Texas and the federal government, earlier this week, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in a 5-4 decision that the U.S. Border Patrol, under the direction of the Biden Administration, could begin removing barbed wire installed by the Texas National Guard along areas of the border.
Governor Greg Abbott of Texas in response has pledged to continue to fortify the border and issued a statement accusing Biden of being “lawless” in his handling of the southern border.
“James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, and the other visionaries who wrote the U.S. Constitution foresaw that States should not be left to the mercy of a lawless president who does nothing to stop external threats like cartels smuggling millions of illegal immigrants across the border.”
Governor Kay Ivey made clear that Alabama supports the Lone Star State.
Texas and the states have stepped up time and time again. The White House? Purposely absent. I have had enough.

“Texas, you can count on Alabama to have your back,” the Governor declared.
Members of Alabama’s Congressional delegation have voiced their support for Abbott, standing up for the idea Texas does in fact have the right to defend its border.
Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Saks) praised Gov. Ivey for supporting Texas in a post on X, saying, “No step too high for a high stepper! I’m with our Governor, and I’m thankful Texas is stepping up to secure our border while the Biden Administration twiddles their thumbs.”

“Joe Biden has turned every state into a border state, and Texas is right in the middle of this crisis. Governor Abbott is doing everything he can to protect the citizens of Texas and the rest of this country from the illegal drugs and immigrants pouring into this country,” Rep. Jerry Carl (R-Mobile) said.
“I support him 100% and am grateful he is such a strong leader on this. I will continue doing all I can to support folks like him who are fighting back against the failed Biden administration.”
Rep. Robert Aderholt (R-Haleyville) simply said, “God Bless Texas!”
