Alabama Congressman Undeterred By White House Distractions

Rep. Bradey Byrne (R-AL01)

As reported by the Washington Times, Rep. Bradley Byrne says Congress will continue to do their job regardless of the upheaval surrounding the White House in recent days.

“What’s happening over at the White House seems to be the stuff that’s happening internally. And I can tell you when I go home and talk to people in my district; they don’t care about all this stuff. They want to know what we’re doing about health care and other issues, so we’re staying on that.” said Rep. Byrne.

Rep. Byrne’s comments come at a time when the White House is facing scrutiny for its staffing changes and its struggle to implement the Trump agenda.
