In his bid for Governor of Alabama in 2026, U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville continues to rack up key endorsements coveted by candidates across the campaign trail.

On Monday, the Alabama Bankers Association, which serves as the voice of the industry across state and local government, announced their official endorsement of Tuberville (R-Auburn).

“Sen. Tuberville is a bold leader who is persistent, decisive and determined,” ABA President and CEO Scott Latham said. “He will look for every opportunity to create teams and build industry alliances designed to propel Alabama forward.”

“Coach is not afraid to speak his mind regardless of the issue,” ABA Chairman Dwight Gamble said. “He has seen government at work at the highest levels which translates into strong and effective leadership from someone who loves this state and wants to see our people excel and prosper in every way.”

In addition to providing its members with public policy advocacy, professional and certification-related education, annual meetings and conferences, regular publications and other programs and benefits, the association also administers BANKPAC, the official political action committee representing the interests of the Alabama banking industry.

Tuberville, who has maintained an extensive portfolio of banking-related policy issues during his time in the U.S. Senate, extended his appreciation to Alabama bankers for their support in 2026.

“I’m grateful for the support of the Alabama Bankers Association,” said Senator Tuberville.

“Ever since I got to the Senate in 2021, I’ve been fighting to create more jobs in Alabama. In order for Alabama’s economy to continue to grow, businesses need access to more capital. We’ve got to support our Alabama banks. When I’m Governor, I’ll work with President Trump to usher in the Golden Age of Alabama’s economy.”

In addition to a record-breaking campaign fundraising hot streak, Tuberville recently announced key endorsements from top industry and advocacy groups, including Manufacturing Alabama, the Alabama Forestry Association, Business Council of Alabama, Alabama Associated General Contractors, and others — along with top state leaders, including U.S. Senate colleague Katie Britt (R-Montgomery).
