Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall is legally taking the Biden administration to task after they politically pressured World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) members to remove minimum age limits from its care standards.
Last week, documents were unsealed that revealed what the Biden administration was doing behind the scenes.
Newly released documents from AL’s case show that WPATH authors, advised by “social justice lawyers,” avoided even looking for evidence because doing so “reveals little or no evidence and puts us in an untenable position in terms of affecting policy and winning lawsuits.”

The attorney general earned another victory this week in defending Alabama’s Vulnerable Child Compassion and Protection Act after a federal judge postponed the upcoming trial over the law until after the U.S. Supreme Court rules on a similar case from Tennessee. The legislation bans the use of puberty blockers and hormone therapy for transgender youth.
Marshall discussed the latest Wednesday on WVNN’s “The Yaffee Program.”
“This is the case where Alabama was defending its children by passing a law that says that we’re not going to embrace gender affirming care, which is where you’re sticking off label drugs through needles into kids legs, trying to be able to change their gender,” Marshall explained. “There was also within the statute, the statement that we’re not going to do surgeries on kids to be able to change their gender, which by the way, apparently Biden administration didn’t embrace when we were able to reveal records last week that Admiral Levine the Assistant Secretary of Health and Human Services, was advocating directly to medical agencies to remove age restrictions they wanted to place on doing the surgeries.”

Marshall said the law is meant to protect children and called on parents who oppose the law to become more informed on the issue.
“First of all,” he said, “I would encourage those parents to be able to read some of the records that we produce, how were they going to feel knowing that ACLU lawyers are dictating to medical agencies, how they develop standards of care, so that it can help their case and preserving transgender rights that has nothing to do with taking care of kids that suffer from gender dysphoria.”
He also added these transgender health groups are pushing an extreme agenda.
“What I can tell you is the records that we have reveal that, not only just WPATH is an international organization that’s advancing this radical agenda through its standard of care,” he argued. “Not only are they acknowledging internally that they don’t even know that they have the ability to explain to parents and kids: What are the consequences of this? I think parents need to understand that there are other options, they may not be informed, that have the ability outside of using medicine off label, to try to deal with the concerns that they’re facing in their own home.”
Marshall said he plans to continue this fight against the radical left’s agenda.
“What we’re hoping and what we look forward to doing is to even further exposing the true fraud that is taking place by these activists, some and the liberal medical community and this administration trying to impact patient care,” he said. “You’re in a way that’s making kids experiments. And it’s been a failed experiment in Europe and doesn’t need to be occurring in this country.”
