7 Things: We are back to blaming Russia for everything; outspoken liberal Alabama judge cuts killer loose and he murders; and more …

7. The son of legal immigrants penned a piece for Yellowhammer News, describing how his parents fled to the United States legally, despite the direness of their situation after China invaded Taiwan in 1979. Conservative activist Derek Chen contrasted his families story with the current U.S. border crisis, where the author argues that illegal immigration is compromising national security and impacting communities across the country, calling for stronger border policies.

6. No, Republicans are not rooting for Trump to lose, and multiple predictors are now suggesting that Trump is looking pretty good. Even MSNBC’s Steve Kornacki is explaining to its networks liberal hosts and viewers that former President Trump is in better shape than in previous elections because polls have continuously underestimated him in the past.

5. The U.S. Supreme Court blocked President Joe Biden’s second attempt to cancel up to $400 billion in student loan debt, following a challenge from 11 Republican-led states. The court’s decision leaves over 8 million borrowers in limbo, while critics argue that the ruling prioritizes politics over the financial well-being of Americans, particularly those with lower incomes. Republicans contend that Biden’s plan exceeds legal authority and misleads borrowers, while Democrats vow to continue fighting for student debt relief.

4. The day before another school shooting in Georgia killed four and injured many more, the manifesto from Audrey Hale, the 2023 Nashville school shooter, was finally released, revealing her deep disdain for Christianity and her parents’ religious beliefs, which was widely expected to be her reasoning for the shooting. The journal documents Hale’s mental turmoil, gender confusion, and a fixation on left-wing racial politics leading up to the attack that killed six people, including three children, at The Covenant School, in Nashville, TN.

3. After State Sen. Gerald Allen (R-Tuscaloosa) was annoyed by a man vaping at a Junior Varsity High School football game, he is pushing for legislation to ban vaping in public places, similar to restrictions on cigarette smoking. His bill, SB10, aims to include e-cigarettes under the state’s Clean Air Act. The bill has bipartisan support but is expected to face opposition from the vaping industry.

2. Democrat Judge David Carpenter is under-fire for releasing Raukeem Cunningham on bond after he was charged with shooting a 15-year-old girl after Cunningham was charged with capital murder for killing three people at a Bessemer gas station over Labor Day weekend. Carpenter, is outspoken liberal on social media attacking conservatives and declaring that crime is not as big of a deal as some are making it out to be, has who has presided over Alabama’s 10th Judicial Circuit since 2013 that includes Jefferson County and it’s high crime rates.

1. The U.S. Justice Department seized over 30 web domains linked to a Russian disinformation campaign called “Doppelganger,” aimed at influencing the 2024 U.S. election because the domains imitated major news outlets, promoting pro-Russian narratives and undermining U.S. support for Ukraine. The indictments will undoubtedly bolster the narrative that Russia and Russian President Vladimir Putin are assisting former President Donald Trump, a storyline sure to grow during the presidential election, which MSNBC is already pushing with their reporting, “While the indictment redacted the names of political parties and candidates, it was clear through the documents that the Russians sought to bolster Republican former President Donald Trump and to harm Democratic efforts.”
