7 Things: Tuberville’s silence allows dishonest hits to continue; Biden threatens country he begged for oil; and more …

7. Joe Biden is a liar but it’s just fine with the media

  • President Joe Biden appears to be lost sometimes, makes up stories and is generally loose with the facts of his life and any situation at hand. This is not new. Biden has plagiarized speeches and even lied about his family members’ deaths.
  • While the media correctly called former President Donald Trump on his mistruths, they are less interested in doing so with Biden. They are now making excuses. The New York Times excuses him, “embellished narratives, sometimes only loosely based on the facts, to weave together his political identity.” This is called lying, but they think it’s quaint, “The exaggerated biography that Mr. Biden tells includes having been a fierce civil rights activist who was repeatedly arrested. He has claimed to have been an award-winning student who earned three degrees. And last week, speaking on the hurricane-devastated island of Puerto Rico, he said he had been ‘raised’ in the Puerto Rican community at home, politically.”

6. Alabama auto parts plants fined by Department of Labor

  • Authorities had found five children as young as 13 at a Hyundai and Kia parts supplier in Alabama, and they are now looking at fines and sanctions being levied by the U.S. Department of Labor and the Alabama Department of Labor against the companies and the recruiter they used to staff their plants.
  • The fines for the company and the recruiter are roughly $30k and $35k, respectively. For their part, SL Alabama, the auto parts supplier, cooperated with investigators, stopped working with the JK USA, a temporary labor recruiting firm, and “has never knowingly employed minors to work at any of its facilities.”

5. Transgender kids skyrockets in liberal Maryland County

  • The explosion of transgender children in a Maryland school district should be a warning sign for parents and educators across the country. It seems unlikely that will be the conclusion drawn by activists and teachers, but I repeat myself.
  • Self-reported surveys show there has been a 582% increase in the number of kids self-identifying as transgender, a sevenfold increase since 2019. People in this school district are celebrating this. But Dr. Gary Wright, Colin Wright, an evolutionary biologist and journalist, notes this is all very concerning, “It is urgent that we all fully understand that the definition of transgenderism used by our most highly regarded scientific, medical, and human rights institutions now literally encompasses common gender nonconformity, and this is the main reason so many children are now claiming to be transgender.”

4. Surely the FBI wouldn’t pay someone a million dollars to confirm a fake Steele dossier and ignore the failure

  • While the Durham probe into the FBI’s handling of the Russian collusion investigation is slow-rolling along, a new story has emerged showing how badly those in the FBI wanted to get candidate/President Donald Trump. This led to bad decision-making.
  • FBI supervisory counterintelligence analyst Brian Auten claims the FBI offered ex-British Intelligence agent Christopher Steele $1 million to verify the dossier. However, he could not do it. Auten testified that none of this mattered as the FBI entered those allegations into the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant application to target Trump aide Carter Page.

3. Train strike coming at the worst time imaginable for you and Joe Biden

  • The economy is the dominating concern for Americans, and Democrats are starting to worry about it. Unfortunately, everyone is about to suffer a little more if a train strike comes to fruition. This could lead to disruption in the auto industry, commuting, agriculture, energy and retail.
  • This week, 56% of its more than 11,000 workers of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees Division of the Teamsters voted against a Biden administration deal, reversing a rare win for Biden.

2. Joe Biden says he will punish Saudi Arabia, but his options seem limited

  • While Saudi Arabia and other OPEC-Plus countries are making it clear that they will cut oil production, President Joe Biden thinks threatening them with — something — will get them to turn the oil back on. Biden told CNN’s Jake Tapper, “I’m not going to get into what I’d consider and what I have in mind. But there will be consequences.”
  • Punishing the person who continues to sell you oil is another bad idea from Biden’s energy team. It joins the list of bad policies, along with begging Iran to stop killing its citizens so we can buy oil from them and give them nuclear bombs; asking the non-ruler of Venezuela to sell us oil; and not drilling more in the U.S. his entire term, making us more dependent on the world’s worst people.

1. Tuberville remains silent while the media and White House misquote and lie

  • As pointed out at Yellowhammer News, the media narrative surrounding comments made by U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) is predicated on righteous anger and copious misquoting. But Tuberville remains silent as the media narrative builds.
  • Now the White House is getting in on the game with spokesperson Karine-Jean Pierre stating definitively, “When a MAGA Republican says something racist or anti-Semitic, they’re embraced by cheering crowds and become celebrated and sought-after endorsements.” There is not a shred of evidence that anyone is embracing the media and their Democrats’ narrative on this issue.
