7. Even a Joe Biden cheerleader is shocked by the fact that Americans are over this illegal immigration nonsense and CBS News’ Margaret Brennan expressed confusion over the results of a recent poll CBS itself did that showed majority support for deporting all illegal immigrants. 62% of Americans support this so Brennan attempted to shift the conversation to be about deporting kids, “It doesn’t seem practical, in some sense, to round up children. And then we know that the courts have questioned whether local authorities would have the ability to do it, and federal authorities don’t have the resources. So what exactly do people think they’re supporting?”
6. Hunter Biden’s trial goes to jury after his text messages blow up his defense as the prosecution introduced text message exchanges suggesting the crackhead son of President Joe Biden was seeking out drug dealers, aiming to establish a pattern of behavior. The defense team chose not to place him on the stand and instead suggested the jury instructions were “overly expansive and amorphous” and debated what it means to be a drug “user” and to “possess” a firearm and suggested Biden has not received a fair trial when the reality is the DOJ tried to not even bring this case to trial.
5. The Biden administration could be working his own hostage deal and a unilateral negotiation with Hamas to secure the release of five American hostages held in Gaza if current cease-fire talks involving Israel fail. These potential negotiations, facilitated through Qatari intermediaries, would exclude Israel and could strain U.S.-Israel relations while possibly pressuring Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to agree to a cease-fire proposal, which Biden is clearly trying to force to appease his left-wing base.
4. Former President Donald Trump has suggested he will wait until the Republican National Convention before he names his nominee for vice president but that is not stopping people from talking about the choice. Dog-slaughterer and governor of South Dakota, Kristi Noem is calling for a woman nominee (for some reason) and Alabama U.S. Rep. Robert Aderholt (R-Haleyville) is suggesting Tim Scott, “Tim Scott, in my book, he is a solid guy, conservative. He is a serious in his faith, Christian believer, and someone that doesn’t just what I call showboat. He is really someone who is really a workhorse and who is very sincere. So I won’t say I put my money on Tim Scott because I don’t know what the president is thinking. But I think if he chose Tim Scott, it would be a wise choice.”
3. Because the beatings must continue, Alabama State Rep. Andy Whitt (R-Harvest) is again expressing his frustration over the failure to pass gambling and lottery legislation during the 2024 session, despite over 16 months of preparation. Whitt lamented the one vote gap and what he says is a missed opportunity for Alabama citizens, emphasizing that the proposed legislation, an education lottery, would have benefited the state’s residents, but the casino gambling issues continue to plague the passage of gambling bills.
2. President Joe Biden is publicly experiencing an ongoing never-ending embarrassing cognitive decline and it was in full display at the White House event honoring Juneteenth, fittingly on June 10th, and it seems like the worm is starting to turn on the president. 538‘s Nate Silver, touting Biden’s 37% approval rate and his obvious deterioration in full-view of the American people and now media is openly questioning how Biden makes it until election day and Silver states that it is “more than fair” to ask if Biden should drop out.
1. U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn), and other Republicans have been compared to those who sought to appease the Nazis in the 1930s by U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) but Tuberville’s concerns seem to be more about avoiding World War 3 than helping Russian President Vladimir Putin. Tuberville told WABC-AM in New York that “Ukraine can’t win” and adding that we can’t stop China from taking Taiwan, “And then, of course, everybody wants to [say], ‘Hey, we cannot let China take over Taiwan.’ Hey folks, we can’t keep China from taking Taiwan.”
