Russian President Vladimir Putin praised President Donald Trump’s “sincere” peace efforts in Ukraine, saying, “making, in my opinion, quite energetic and sincere efforts to stop the hostilities, stop the crisis and reach agreements that are of interest to all parties involved in this conflict,” hinting at a possible U.S.-Russia nuclear deal in addition to signaling that he may actually be open to a peace deal in Ukraine.
