4. Over the past few days, Vice President Kamala Harris has a hard time creating narratives to explain why she is running for office and answering questions about her campaign, now she is having a hard time ASKING questions. 3. Florida’s evacuation over Hurricane Milton are leading to Lt. Gov. Will Ainsworth renewing his call to expand I-65, which serves as Alabama’s primary evacuation route during hurricanes. He and State Sen. Chris Elliott (R-Josephine) stressed that expanding the highway is crucial for public safety and vital for the state’s growing economy and infrastructure.

2. U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) and U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer (R-Hoover) both criticized the Biden-Harris administration and FEMA for their slow response to Hurricane Helene, claiming some of the hardest-hit areas in the Carolinas received no assistance for days. Tuberville also condemned FEMA for diverting funds to support illegal immigrants, accusing the administration of prioritizing foreign aid over American disaster relief and Palmer alleged that the areas would have been served better if they were Democrat strongholds.
