7 Things: Marshall, Republican AGs call for denial of Trump gag order; Biden team makes up ‘cheap fake’ term to excuse failings; and more …

7. The Biden campaign is launching a $50 million media buy targeting former President Donald Trump, a convicted felon, ahead of their first debate. This substantial investment aims to highlight Trump’s legal issues and contrast them with Biden’s record. The ads will run across various platforms, including TV, digital, and radio, as the campaign seeks to shape voter perceptions leading up to the crucial debate.

6. Democrats want higher taxes as former President Donald Trump makes it clear he does not and, as the 2024 election approaches, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) urges Democrats to resist pressure to avoid tax hikes as the debate over extending Trump-era tax cuts intensifies. She emphasized the need for a fair tax system that requires the wealthy and corporations to pay their share, countering Republican efforts to maintain the cuts.

5. New polling in Iowa is a huge warning for Democrats in crucial Midwest states after a new Iowa poll shows former President Donald Trump leading President Joe Biden by nearly 20 points in a state Trump only won by 8. Double haters everywhere are saying that Trump’s criminal conviction is effecting their decision.

4. President Joe Biden’s administration is pretending to secure the border while creating yet another way to skirt enforcement and bring more people into the country by incentivizing illegal behavior. DACA recipients, also known as Dreamers, now have another path to legal status – sexual slavery marriage

3. The first U.S. presidential debate between incumbent President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump on June 27 will feature two commercial breaks, no props, no live crowd and muted microphones except when recognized to speak. The debate will have hostile but TOTALLY FAIR moderators Jake Tapper and Dana Bash enforcing the rules to ensure a civilized discussion, according to CNN.

2. The White House tried to dismiss viral clips showing President Joe Biden as frail or confused as “cheap fakes.” The clips of Biden at a G-7 photo op in Italy and an interaction with former President Barack Obama at a Los Angeles fundraiser are not fake at all and the American media knows this but have to protect Joe Biden. Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre condemned these videos, calling them misleading and criticizing right-wing critics for spreading misinformation and made it clear that she expects the media to clean this up for the Biden campaign.

1. More than 20 state attorneys general, including Alabama’s Steve Marshall, are calling on the Florida district court to deny a gag order request a Biden DOJ gag order intended to prevent Donald Trump from speaking about the 2022 FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago. They argue the order is unconstitutional and an attempt to silence Trump during an election year. Marshall emphasized that the gag order would infringe on Trump’s First Amendment rights and skew the election, describing it as a “stunning assault” on free speech.
