7 Things: Immigration fight heats up with Ivey, Trump slamming Biden; Alabama hitman executed despite efforts to save him from his sentence; and more …

7. That Alabama Democratic Party is a mess, see their X account for more info on that, and now their leadership is claiming President Joe Biden is meddling in their business. Joe Reed, longtime chairman of the Alabama Democratic Conference, has told the Biden campaign that their attempt to disqualify Reed’s delegates to the Democratic National Convention will be fought in federal court if necessary.

6. State Rep. Ernie Yarbrough (R-Trinity) is planning on sponsoring the bill to establish Education Savings Accounts in Alabama and he is happy to hear Gov. Kay Ivey supports this school choice idea. Yarborough’s push for ESAs and school choice, in general, seems to have a growing momentum behind the policy goal, “Let’s give our parents the power to take of their children’s education, and that’s the heart behind ESAs. So it was very encouraging.”

5. Ken McFeeters, a desperate Republican candidate for U.S. representative in District 6 is using an absurd video featuring an AI-generated former President Donald Trump to smear U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer (R-Hoover) with a fake video where the fake Trump refers to the congressman as “Old Creepy Eyes.” In reality, Palmer is endorsed by Trump, but the never-going-to-be congressman McFeeters, ironically forced the artificial Trump to say, in the made-up call, “people are waking up to the fact that [Palmer] is a liar and he takes credit for things he didn’t do.”

4. Former President Donald Trump reacted to the news that the Republican National Committee (RNC) was planning to declare him the “presumptive nominee” by rejecting the idea. In a post on Truth Social, Trump said, he doesn’t need the RNC’s help, “I feel, for the sake of PARTY UNITY, that they should NOT go forward with this plan, but that I should do it the “Old Fashioned” way, and finish the process off AT THE BALLOT BOX.”

3. Kenneth Eugene Smith, who killed a woman with a fireplace poker for $1,000, was put to death for his crimes last night against the wishes of the media and other clowns. The now-dead murderer’s poignant and totally not ridiculous last words, before succumbing to nitrogen hypoxia, were, “Tonight Alabama causes humanity to take a step backward. Thank you for supporting me. Love all of you.”

2. Former President Donald Trump, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey, and 24 other Republican governors have backed the move to attempt to control the border by Texas against President Joe Biden’s administration.

1. As the wave of undocumented illegals crosses the border from all over the world, a bill to secure the border doesn’t even seem to be in serious discussion as the Biden White House seeks more money to process illegals before releasing them into the country. That bill will apparently not pass, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) called it a “pile of crap” and now the media, their Democrats, and some Republicans are blaming former President Donald Trump who called the bill, “meaningless in terms of Border Security and Closure,” for their President Joe Biden’s inability to do his job.
