7 Things: Government made up ‘six-foot rule’ that wrecked businesses and harmed kids; Tuberville is done with Democrats; and more …

7. A summer reading program to help kids catch up on reading is not mandatory for kids who don’t want to be held back over the Alabama Literacy Act rules, but the 4,800 third-graders at risk of being held back need to take advantage of the programs. While attendance isn’t mandatory, it’s highly recommended to improve your child’s skills and avoid potential retention by attending summer reading camp and then passing a second ACAP test this month or July.

6. Fifteen states, including Alabama, are suing the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services over a new rule that expands the Affordable Care Act’s sex discrimination ban to include “gender identity.” Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall criticized the rule as radical and harmful, noting its potential impact on state policies and federal funding. The rule mandates that medical providers perform gender transition surgeries and administer hormone treatments, and requires the use of gender-affirming pronouns, with penalties for non-compliance.

4. A jury of 12 and 4 alternates has been selected for Hunter Biden’s federal gun crime trial, where he faces charges of making false statements during a firearm purchase and possession of a firearm as an unlawful user of controlled substances, which he admitted to doing. The crackhead son of President Joe Biden could be facing up to 25 years in prison and significant fines, but his father has put his finger on the scales of justice multiple times on this matter.

3. President Joe Biden’s immigration plan, that he claimed he could not do, won’t work and isn’t serious as it still lets U.S.-Mexico border when daily encounters exceed 2,500 (or 4,000), with the border reopening once the number declines to 1,500. Of course, the Associated Press is referring to it as “tough” but this is most-likely just empty politics.

2. U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) has seen enough of Democrats, their perversion of the justice system, and their radical ideas so he is pledging to not work with them and to block certain legislative priorities and judicial nominees in response to former President Donald Trump’s guilty verdict. Ten Republican senators signed on to a letter and Tuberville took to Twitter to explain his frustrations, “In response to the partisan politics coming from the @WhiteHouse, my colleagues and I REFUSE to cooperate with any Democrat legislative priorities or nominations that are part of their agenda to tear our country apart.”

1. The government that pushed a six-foot rule during the COVID-19 pandemic, ruining lives and business, can not tell you where it got that idea and it only got worse from there because Dr. Anthony Fauci, touted as a all-knowing God-send, didn’t even have a clue where it came from. Fauci admitted there was no scientific evidence behind the rule, as well as no cost-benefit analysis for masking children which destroyed children’s education and socialization, illustrating that much of the pandemic guidance lacked solid scientific backing but was pushed with brutality anyway.
