7 Things: Eggs, gas prices falling in Alabama; Rep. Strong will obviously not go to town hall put on by Soros-backed Indivisible group; and more …

7. Conservatives around the country have been the victims of a recent swatting spree and Alabama-based Larry Taunton became one of the victims after sheriff’s deputies stormed his Talladega County home following a false 911 call claiming armed men were shooting inside. The incident is captured on his Ring camera andFBI Director Kash Patel has pledged investigations into this dangerous trend.

6. The Pell City Police Department is collaborating with a group called Axon Fusus to build a network of private security cameras and they are asking residents to voluntarily share access to their security cameras, which they say will enhance safety and investigations. However, some suggest the move could lead to profiling and abuse, despite assurances that routine monitoring won’t occur, but the program does absolve the police from incidents where they accidently access the camera without a reason.

5.  The Israeli Defense Forces launched widespread airstrikes across Gaza targeting Hamas infrastructure, ending a nearly two-month ceasefire, as officials cited the group’s refusal to free hostages despite proposals from President Donald Trump’s U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff. Defense Minister Israel Katz warned of intensified military action, vowing to continue until all hostages are released, while Hamas blamed Israel for the aggression and demanded a full withdrawal and permanent truce.

4. Alphonso Lark, a 54-year-old man from Tuskegee, was charged with looting a Troy home that was damaged by a tornado and taking a water heater, fireplace, and electronics after a tornado that killed 3 in Alabama and 37 nationwide. He allegedly tried to sell the stolen items, valued over $500, at a recycling plant, which is a Class C felony that could net him a 366 days to 10 years in prison.

3. Democrats will not let their rampant unpopularity stop them from defending terrible people, this is the only thing that explains a Clinton-appointed judge’s crusade against the Trump administration’s move to deport illegal immigrant gang members to El Salvador. U.S. District Judge James Boasberg held a hearing to determine why the Trump administration didn’t turn the planes around on his order. Another favorite martyr for the media and their Democrats, Brown University’s Dr. Rasha Alawieh was deported to Lebanon after admitting she attended Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah’s funeral, with federal agents finding related photos on her phone, prompting a legal battle over her removal, these facts led to her lawyers quitting her case.

2. Obviously, U.S. Rep. Dale Strong (R-Monrovia) will not be joining a town hall in Athens on March 22, hosted by the progressive George Soros-linked group Indivisible, claiming it’s a front for “left-wing liberals” angry about President Donald Trump’s victory and federal spending reforms. While the group held another silly and ineffective protest that the media can not get enough of, Strong defended his outreach through newsletters and mobile office hours, arguing his constituents support his efforts and that Trump’s policies, including Elon Musk’s DOGE, will boost North Alabama’s economy.

1. The price of eggs are still coming down. Wholesale egg prices have fallen to $4.15 per dozen from a high weeks ago, thanks to no major bird flu outbreaks in March, yet retail prices might not drop for days due to inventory and caution. The Trump administration’s “Rapid Response 47” Twitter account shows that the price of eggs is down 47.3% since Inauguration Day. Gas prices are down as well with U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) crediting President Donald Trump’s policies for Alabama’s average gas price dropping to $2.74 per gallon, down from $3.18 a year ago, “Alabamians are finally seeing lower prices at the gas pump. Promises made, promises kept.”
