7 Things: Biden to emerge to tout Harris; State Rep. Givan is first Democrat to support state-takeover of local cops; and more …

7. The Department of Justice (DOJ) has now conveniently acknowledged possessing transcripts of President Joe Biden’s interviews with biographer Mark Zwonitzer after previously denying it as part of cover-up related to Robert Hur’s investigation into Biden’s handling of classified documents post-vice presidency. The DOJ revealed it had six electronic files with 117 pages of verbatim transcripts created by a court-reporting service and Hur confirmed he used these transcripts and a handwritten note by Biden.

6. Randi Weingarten, head of the American Federation of Teachers union, has gone on an insane rant about re-electing former President Donald Trump, turning the union’s convention into a political rally, warning that a Trump re-election could lead to fascism and violence. She contrasted Trump’s potential policies with those of the Biden-Harris administration, promoting various freedoms and social justice initiatives and warned about Trump’s previous term and his associates, including former Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos and activist Christopher Rufo, who have worked to expose the action’s of the unions and education establishment.

5. The University of Alabama System will tell DEI to GTFO when they eliminate its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion offices and programs to bring themselves in compliance with a new state law effective Oct. 1. Resources previously allocated to DEI initiatives will be redirected to support all students as the law supported by Alabama Republicans requires and bans the use of state funds for DEI and compels students or employees to adhere to certain divisive concepts.

4. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle resigned amid bipartisan criticism following the agency’s failure to prevent an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump on July 13. Despite her initial attempts to stay in her role, Cheatle faced intense questioning in a House Oversight Committee hearing and calls for her resignation from lawmakers. Oddly, President Biden thanked Cheatle for her service and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas praised Cheatle following her resignation.

3. State Rep. Juandalynn Givan (D-Birmingham) endorses the call for urgent action to address high crime rates in Birmingham, describing the city as a “disaster zone” with frequent violent incidents. She urged city leaders to collaborate with the community and support law enforcement while opposing the defunding of the police. Givan’s support for a bill from State Rep. Reed Ingram (R-Pike Road) that would allow the state to appoint police chiefs in high-crime areas and she criticized the disconnect between Mayor Randall Woodfin and the police, advocating for better leadership and community policing efforts.

2. Former President Donald Trump was highly enthusiastic about debating President Joe Biden, repeatedly insisting on debates “ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, ANYPLACE” but he wants the next debate to be on Fox News and not ABC, citing the bias of the network. The media and their Democrats, of course, are speculating that Trump is scared to debate Vice President Kamala Harris, proving his point that the media cannot remotely be trusted to tell the truth because Trump says he will debate and would do more than one.

1. President Joe Biden has reportedly tested “negative” for COVID-19 with his symptoms “resolving” themselves and will deliver his first on-camera remarks since announcing he will not seek reelection, focusing on his future plans and key priorities for the remainder of his term. Surely, he was be ready to tout IN DETAIL all of Vice President Kamala Harris’ many accomplishments, like her time as border czar, bailing rioters out of jail, lying constantly, and being unburdened by what has been without being burdened in the future about what might be in front of his fourth national audience since someone tried to murder former  President Donald Trump.
