7. Hundreds rally in support of Hamas in Birmingham at Railroad Park. The mindless calls for a “cease-fire” continued after Israel responded to the slaughtering and intentional targeting of Israeli civilians but Hamas doesn’t even want that. Laith Mekdad told al.com, errantly, that the conflict has led to “Thirty thousand people brutally murdered in cold blood.” The premise that this was a rally for peace is questionable as signs read, “No peace without justice.”
6. Unfortunately for most of college football fans and the entire Southeastern Conference, Alabama football head football coach Nick Saban is not quitting anytime soon. Saban has a good attitude about the retirement questions, saying it is happening every year because he is getting old, “I think the rumors about me retiring started about five years ago and it’s kind of laughable. I love what I’m doing and I’m focused on the challenge.”
5. Morgan County District Attorney Scott Anderson has announced a singular murder charge for 23-year-old former Decatur police officer Mac Bailey Marquette in the shooting death of Steve Perkins outside his home after Perkins allegedly brandished a gun at a tow truck driver twice. The other 3 officers were not charged because, as Anderson put it, “There were four officers at the scene when this incident occurred, and there was only one officer who fired any shot.”
4. Spending deal met between House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), cuts to IRS included, but issues with border funding continue to be a concern and the House Freedom Caucus called the bill a “total failure.”
3. U.S. Rep Gary Palmer (R-Hoover) continues to raise the alarm bill about illegal immigration and how it will impact future elections. Palmer lays out the Democrat’s immigration strategy moving forward, “As you know New York lost a representative and California lost one. So you let 12 million people into the country illegally and they migrate to California or New York or Illinois or someplace like that, when we do the census they’ll count them for purposes of representation, and that should not be the case.”
2. President Joe Biden keeps dividing America, his “Dementia and Demonization Roadshow” is kicking off at Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina. Former Vice President Mike Pence knows that Biden’s argument is meritless and even U.S. Senator Mitt Romney (R-Utah) thinks Biden’s campaign strategy is a bit silly.
1. The media and their Democrats continue to claim January 6 was the worst day in American history. It was not. But anchors embarrassingly cry on air, Democrats continue pretending America is one lost election from the end of “democracy,” and freak out over President Donald Trump saying the Civil War shouldn’t have happened and the outcome could have been negotiated, all while the Supreme Court has to decide whether someone can even be on the ballot.
