7. Alabama broadcasting legend Eli Gold does not seem happy after being pushed out of the Alabama Crimson Tide’s broadcast booth and wants fans to know that it was not his decision to leave the school and that he is not done broadcasting. Gold, the 70-year-old voice of some of Alabama’s most iconic moments, is a recovering cancer survivor who has missed a lot of games but seems ready to keep going, “I will not be returning. The university chose to not bring me back. I have not retired!”
6. While the world appears to be going crazy with men injuring women on the basketball court, grown men in dresses going into schools, and Libs of TikTok is being blamed for every death of a trans person, Alabama seeks to live in reality by clearly defining what is a man and what is a woman. The bill is as simple as it sounds and defines “male as an individual who at some point produces sperm, and a female as someone who at some point produces ova.”
5. Mayor Randall Woodfin of Birmingham has figured out what he thinks is a brilliant scheme to derail the Alabama Legislature’s move to eliminate the cancerous Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practices from Alabama’s institutions and ban “divisive concepts.” Following messages to Alabama institutions of higher learning, Woodfin declared that he would attempt to dismantle the University of Alabama’s football recruiting over the measure and then suggested it is similar to former Alabama Gov. George Wallace’s “stand in the schoolhouse door.”
4. A second baby was left in an Alabama fire station’s Safe Haven Baby Box in a matter of weeks in Madison and taken to the hospital where it is doing well. Alabama’s new law, passed last year, allows a baby to be left in one of the boxes up to 45 days after being born. And, after ensuring the child is not missing, they will be adopted.
3. The media and their Democrats are doing all they can to pretend that there is no fire, despite all the smoke surrounding President Joe Biden, his crackhead son, his brother, and his business dealings. Democrats are using a lying FBI informant as a chance to derail the entire investigation, but that rain is well down the tracks.
2. President Joe Biden’s latest polling shows that he is hemorrhaging support across the board and it is very clear that he needs a way to get that support back by possibly enforcing the rule of law at the border and giving away billions to deadbeats. His border enforcement gambit is angering his supporters like U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) but his plan to override the Supreme Court and buy votes using the Treasury via student loan bailouts is universally loved by the Left.
1. Fallout from the Alabama Supreme Court ruling on embryos begins with national media drooling at the idea of having another issue to tie to abortion, Alabama Democrats declaring that you need to vote in “#Rovember“(?) and the University of Alabama at Birmingham declaring their fertility clinic closed and telling people to stop taking their medication. It is all a bit of an overreaction, as UAB has not experienced any pushback, but Alabama legislators are talking about taking on the issue which could lead to outcomes of a codification of the ruling, a law that carves out exceptions, or nothing being done at all.
