7 Things: AL Democrat took to international media to smear constituents; Montgomery is super-safe; NC Lt. Gov. is issue for Trump; and more …

7. U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) claimed that there are five known assassination teams in the U.S., three of which are foreign and allegedly targeting former President Donald Trump, which Gaetz sources to a senior official in the Department of Homeland Security. Gaetz expressed concerns about insufficient security for Trump, criticizing the Secret Service and pointing to gaps in protective efforts despite known threats. Experts believe Trump is still at risk.

6. A recent Scripps News/Ipsos poll shows that a majority of Americans, particularly Republicans and independents, support mass deportation of illegal immigrants, while only 25% of Democrats agree. Immigration remains a top political concern, the Democrat philosophy of more immigration is out-of-touch with Americans, and respondents to the poll favor Trump’s handling of immigration issues over Harris 44% to 34%.

5. White Dudes for Harris launched a $10 million ad campaign targeting white men in swing states like Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, aiming to sway voters disillusioned with Trump’s leadership. The group, formed after Kamala Harris replaced Joe Biden on the Democratic ticket, raised over $4 million in its first month and seeks to offer an alternative for white men who feel left behind.

4. Degenerates demand children see porn in the library and parents who have an issue with that need to keep their children out of the public library. Mobile City Councilman William Carroll criticized citizens, like Amber Ward who requested action to remove inappropriate books, arguing that taxpayer dollars fund the library and the public should have a voice in the matter. Fortunately, politicians like Carroll are losing this battle and those advocating for some sanity at public libraries are winning with the Alabama Public Library Service Board electing Alabama Republican Party chairman John Wahl as its new chairman, despite a weird tantrum from Auburn University at Montgomery’s Jessica Hayes, who serves as the Advocacy Coordinator for the Alabama Library Association and allegedly accosted and threw papers at reporters during the meeting.

3. The 2024 presidential election is expected to hinge on three key states: Pennsylvania, Georgia, and North Carolina so it should come as no surprise that the weirdo behavior of Mark Robinson, the Republican nominee for governor of North Carolina, has come under fire for making inflammatory comments on a pornography website over a decade ago is being used to hurt Republicans in the state. Robinson, who now faces calls to drop out, referred to himself as a “black NAZI,” expressed controversial views on slavery, and despite his public stance against transgender rights, archived messages reveal that Robinson admitted to enjoying transgender pornography, though he now denies making these statements.

2. Montgomery is the safest city in the state of Alabama and the second safest city in the nation, said no one ever. BUT Montgomery was ranked the safest city in Alabama and second in the nation by U.S. News & World Report, a claim met with skepticism from residents who pointed to high crime rates and underfunded services with not one of their respondents on Instagram offering a positive response. To highlight the fact that the city knows this is not true, even as they promote it, the city has formed a crime suppression task force involving federal and state agencies to address the ongoing crime issues.

1. Alabama Democrats love taking to the national and international media to make the state look bad. State Rep. Marilyn Lands (D-Madison) is taking advantage of those opportunities by stupidly suggesting she was elected to the Alabama Legislature on the heels of the state’s in vitro fertilization issue, she was not. Lands, who a photo indicates was ambushed for the article “How IVF is now splitting Trump’s Republican family,” suggested Alabama Republicans are against IVF, which is false, in fact even the data set used to get this article shows only 13% of Republicans are against IVF (8% of Democrats are).
