7 Things: $20M for ‘Big Guy,’ family; poll claims Tuberville should drop holds; and more …

7. Former Alabama/Las Vegas Raiders WR Henry Ruggs III was convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or controlled or prohibited substance resulting in death and misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter. He has been sentenced to 3 to 10 years in prison, far less than the 50 years the original charges could have brought.

6. Blue states continue to reap what they sow in relation to unfettered illegal immigration with New York whining about the $12 billion costs of living out their sanctuary city dreams. Massachusetts declared a state of emergency over the matter while asking citizens to take in illegals, and Chicago cops are knocking up illegal immigrant teens.

5. The FBI killed an armed Utah man who had threatened President Joe Biden before he visited the state. Craig Deleeuw Robertson said he was ready to “clean the dust off the m24 sniper rifle” in a threat to the president of the United States.

4. Liberals in Alabama, and beyond, like to complain that Alabama is a “welfare state” because of all the defense spending that takes place in the state. But now that Alabama has slipped from No. 3 to No. 7 in earmarks in 2023, they are saying that Alabama’s delegation is ineffective. Someone might think these people are not fair brokers.

3. Another man involved in the Riverfront Rumble has told the media that this event did not have a racial component. FBI and authorities seem to agree, but social media and unscrupulous mainstream media say it was racist and that is enough for the mainstream media.

2. A liberal special interest group masquerading as the non-partisan veterans’ group Vote Vets claims they have a poll showing 58% of Alabamians want U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) to stop holding up promotions over the Biden administration’s illegal abortion policy. This isn’t the group’s first strike here.

1. Another shoe drops into the smoldering pile of burning shoes on the Biden crime syndicate as the House Oversight Committee announces they have info on $20 million that was given to Hunter Biden by Kazakhstan, Russia, Romania, Ukraine, and China. But the media and their Democrats insist that President Joe Biden has nothing to do with this but Hunter thinks otherwise regarding the “Big Guy.”
