A student at Auburn University isn’t regretting using a picture of him standing with U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville as an ad for his landscaping business, despite some of the pushback he received when the post went viral.

Greyson Young posted the photo on the What’s Happening in Auburn and Opelika Facebook page. The post itself doesn’t even mention the senator.

“Hey, my name is Greyson Young, Auburn University student,” the post says. “I offer pressure washing, pinestraw/mulch, junk removal, and landscaping. Please call or text at 334-591-0606 now for a quote. I offer some of the cheapest prices in town with the best results. Plenty of happy customer experiences on request thanks!”

Many of the comments blasted Young for using the picture, with one person saying, “Young man a word of advice, don’t bring politics into work, it never goes well.”

Young doesn’t seem to mind though, as he said he’s getting plenty of business as a result of the ad.

“Booked out next 16 days with $13,300 in anticipated revenue,” Yong said in a comment on the post. “Haters gonna hate but y’all just give me the attention that creates business.  Calm down not everything has a political meaning behind it.  Just a pic for attention and it worked. Thanks.”
