Alabama Shakes took home two Grammy Awards Monday, Best Alternative Music Album for “Sound & Color” and Best Rock Song for “Don’t Wanna Fight.”

“We never even dreamed of this moment,” said the band’s lead singer, Brittany Howard, as she accepted the trophy for Best Rock Song. “Two Grammys in one day, that’s crazy,” she added moments later while accepting the award for Best Alternative Music Album.

Alabama Shakes was formed in 2009 in Athens, Alabama, and burst onto the national scene with their debut Album “Boys & Girls,” which included the Grammy-nominated single “Hold On.” Their second album, “Sound & Color” was released in 2015 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard album chart and has sold roughly 800,000 copies worldwide.

The group was also nominated for Album of the Year.
