Hate Mail of the Week

“Hate Mail of the Week” is a weekly feature on Yellowhammer Politics in which some of the hate mail submitted through our contact page is published exactly as it was received. The only edits made are to remove expletives — this is a family show, after all.

If you feel like you hate this site, or me, more than the people below — you’re welcome to share your thoughts and feelings here. But at least be creative. (note: sending me over 100 emails in which you just copy and paste curse words doesn’t qualify as being creative.)

You can see last week’s hate mail here.

Comments: I’m writing you to express the feelings of thousands if not tens of thousands of people who’se life was saved by Stewart Buckhalter. First off: you are nothing but a scab and I will address you as such. A fair skinned momma’s boy like yourself wouldn’t know what it’s like to stand arm in arm with your brothers on a picket line and beat the odds to make a better life for your family. Buck went to the mat for the working man in this state and a [expletive] sucking [expletive] like you has some nerve to talk about anything Buck is working on while you hide behind your computer screen. An exact quote from your article is “Alabama owes much of its flourishing business climate to its status as a right-to-work state.” Bull[expletive]. Alabama owes its jobs to the union men in this state who are some of the few who are building anything of worth. You also said “How do Manufacture Alabama’s members benefit from this partnership?” Any partnership with Buck benefits the other side because workers of Alabama stand in solidarity with him. I’m a democrat because democrats appreciate the workers who create wealth not the bean counters who add it up.

Comments: You need to show more loyalty to your Republican leadership. You posted a rumor about Chairman Bill Armistead who you should be currying favor with because he is the future of this party. If the congressional delegation takes money away from him it is their loss. And he may not have raised as much money as people in the past but that is because he is having to spend his time fighting against the Obama administration in Washington in an election year.

People in the comments of your rumors article also suggested that the ALGOP has been quiet but I think it is because he is running a classy organization who does not pick fights with democrats just for the sake of fighting. He is maintaining a good relationship with the Democratic Party and I don’t have a problem with that. We can disagree with them civilly without sniping at them over every little issue.

Your are young but you will learn that you should sometimes hold your tongue. You will need to do that if you expect to gain the support of the executive committee.

Comments: Remember when I told you I would find out everything there is to know about you? You thought it was funny enough to post on your site. Well guess what? I have already found multiple things that I plan on sending to every member of the state media. Even though you wish it was a blog is not a member of the media. They won’t be sympathetic. We’ll see how funny it is then “mister high and mighty”
