With his family surrounding him, Justice Will Sellers was sworn in for a third term as an Associate Justice on the Supreme Court of Alabama.
Sellers first served as an Associate Justice when Governor Kay Ivey appointed him in 2017. He was elected to the office in 2018 and re-elected in 2024. His current term will conclude in 2031.
At the simple ceremony, Justice Sellers said, “I’m thankful to Gov. Ivey, who initially appointed me to this position, and I’m grateful to the people of Alabama, who re-elected me for another six years. Serving on Alabama’s Supreme Court is a high honor. Rest assured, I will continue to work hard and ensure that our laws provide the stability and continuity necessary for our State to thrive.”
