While the Auburn Tigers may not have the same level of success as their in-state rival, the Alabama Crimson Tide, in terms of sending players to the NFL, there are at least three former Auburn players who are likely to find themselves with a new home by the time the draft wraps up.

Here’s a look at those players and where they are projected to land:
Jarquez Hunter
The star running back was one of the best in the entire nation and had an extremely decorated career on The Plains. When it comes to running backs, however, only the absolute blue chip best of the best are taken early, so Hunter was not in the round one conversation.
His projections for the most part see him landing between the fourth and the sixth round.
KeAndre Lambert-Smith
Lambert-Smith spent just one year at Auburn after transferring from Penn State for his final year of eligibility, but he had a massive year and was a major bright spot in an offense that struggled to throw the ball consistently.
With just shy of 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns, all while dealing with some horrific quarterback play, Lambert-Smith proved he belongs at the next level. Some projections see him as late as the sixth or seventh round, but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him go much earlier.
Eugene Asante
Asante had a lengthy six-year college career, spending three years at North Carolina before transferring to Auburn. The linebacker excelled during his time on The Plains both as a player and as a leader of the defense, becoming one of the more beloved players on the unit.
He is projected to be selected sometime in the sixth or seventh round as well, but whoever lands him will be acquiring a major steal.
