Alabama Secretary of State Wes Allen has released his first television advertisement of the 2026 election cycle as he seeks the Republican nomination for lieutenant governor.
The 30-second spot, titled “Great,” highlights Allen’s record on election policy and conservative legislation, including efforts to ban curbside voting and address absentee ballot application fraud.
The campaign said the ad also points to actions taken under Allen’s leadership that led to arrests for election-related crimes, while emphasizing his focus on reducing government spending and advancing conservative priorities.
The commercial features praise Allen previously received from President Donald Trump, including a letter and a public mention during a speech at The University of Alabama.
“I have said from the beginning that the race to become Alabama’s next Republican Lt. Governor is not about rhetoric, it’s about a strong conservative record,” Allen explained. “I am the only person running for this position that has drafted and passed conservative legislation. I am the only candidate that has saved taxpayers $2 million by cutting wasteful spending. I am the only candidate that has fought the liberal agenda and won every single time. This is an important position and we need more than talk. Alabama voters want someone with a strong conservative, proven record.”
The ad is part of Allen’s early campaign push as the race for lieutenant governor begins to take shape ahead of the 2026 election.
