Watch: Dale Strong fights back emotions over testimony of brutal violence by illegal immigrant, gang member

U.S. Rep. Dale Strong is continuing pressure on the Biden administration for refusing to enforce the law at the U.S. southern border.

The Homeland Security held a hearing this week entitled “Voices for the Victims: The Heartbreaking Reality of the Mayorkas Border Crisis,” which was part of the committee’s impeachment proceedings against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

During the hearing Thursday, a witness, Maryland mom Tammy Nobles, testified about how her daughter was brutally murdered by an illegal immigrant and MS-13 gang member.

Strong also questioned Nobles about her feelings on the failures of the Biden administration.

“Miss Nobles, shouldn’t just one instance that an illegal alien has endangered or taken the life of an innocent American like your daughter be a wake-up call to Secretary Mayorkas and President Biden?” Strong asked.

“Yes, most definitely,” Nobles responded.

The congressman then said this is just another obvious example of Biden failed border policies and another reason Mayorkas should be removed from his post.

“As a member just said, there are no experts to raise their hands and say Mayorkas should be impeached,” Strong added. “Miss Nobles and Miss Dunn, let me get one thing straight. You’re experts.”

Strong then took a second to gather himself as he was emotional over the testimonies given to the committee.

“You lost it all,” Strong continued. “As a matter of fact, it has been more than just one instance. In Alabama alone, May 2023 an illegal alien from Honduras raped a teenage girl in a restaurant bathroom…How many more stories like this will it take for Secretary Mayorkas and the Biden administration to wake up?”

He then described how Trump’s border policies were successful in stemming the flow of illegal immigrants into the country.

“The Stay in Mexico Act, it worked,” he exclaimed. “I don’t care which President was there. Whether it was Obama, whether it was Trump, the Stay in Mexico Act worked. Process them. Fuel up Ice Air. Send them back to the country of their origin. If not this, then what will compel them to act?”

Mayorkas has refused to testify before the Committee during these proceedings and has ignored requests for over 170 documents and testimony from the Committee.
