Not that you were ever going to consider doing such a thing, but attempting to fight Auburn legend and former NFL MVP Cam Newton might not be such a great idea.
In fact, it’s probably one of the more foolish things you could try to do. After all, Newton is 6-foot-5 and regularly ran over larger defenders with ease throughout his illustrious career.
But that’s exactly what happened at a 7-on-7 event in Atlanta in a clip that went viral Sunday afternoon.
Cam Newton got jumped by 6 guys.
Dude proceeded to handle each and every one of them and look unphased after.
Yall gotta stop letting these internet narratives boost your heads up. Football players are used to going against 300lb+ dudes. Yall not it. pic.twitter.com/iKCIpIEBXX

Newton didn’t even lose his trademark hat throughout the brawl.
Not much is known about the incident at the moment besides the fact that the brand “We Ball Sports” was hosting its annual invite only 7 on 7 flag football tournament in which the winner receives a cash prize of up to $5,000.
There was a slightly longer clip that showed the incident’s conclusion here as well:

Many on Twitter identified that the group Newton was fighting off was the “TSP Crew,” which stands for “Top Shelf Performance” and is a national 18U 7v7 program, who supposedly was one of the teams participating in the event.
Fans will await eagerly to hear from Newton himself exactly what occurred in Atlanta on Sunday.
