WATCH: Auburn fans gather to send off Pearl and team to Lexington for NCAA Tournament

The Auburn Tigers are just two days away from getting started on what fans hope is about to be the program’s most successful postseason run in their history.

Even after a dominant regular season in which the Tigers held the No. 1 ranking in the country for two months straight and earned a regular season SEC title, none of it will mean anything if Auburn can’t put together a March Madness run.

Ahead of the tournament, the Tiger faithful showed out just as they always do to send the team off right to Lexington where they will have to win two games in order to get to the Sweet Sixteen in Atlanta.

It is worth noting, that the team has not made it past the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament since its Final Four run in 2019. No matter the disappointing history, however, fans are now hungry to find postseason success once again.

Auburn will take the court for the first time on Thursday afternoon against the winner of Alabama State and Saint Francis at 1:40 p.m. CST.
