Republican contenders in the 2026 Alabama Attorney General race are taking over the airwaves with dueling campaign ads released this week — competing to stand out to voters as the most conservative fighters in the field, now 53 days away from the election.
Both camps are also activating the massive warchests they’ve been building throughout the race.
On Friday, former Alabama Supreme Court Justice Jay Mitchell released a new ad entitled “All The Way” airing for the first time during tonight’s Alabama’s March Madness matchup tonight with Michigan.
In the ad, Mitchell vows to deport illegals, back the blue, and take the fight to radical Islam.
“You sneak across the border? Be prepared to be sent home. Attack law enforcement? Get ready to stare down both barrels. And stand with radical Islam? You can Allahu Akbar your butt all the way back to the Middle East,” Mitchell says in the ad.
But Mitchell is just now making his foray onto the airwaves.
Chief Counsel to current Attorney General Steve Marshall, Katherine Robertson, has also been investing heavily in television advertising with her ad “Alabama Tough,” which first began airing last fall.

Her 30-second spot goes big on her decade of experience in the AG’s office.
“She’s the most qualified and experienced conservative we need as Alabama’s top cop,” the announcer says. “Katherine Robertson has been with President Trump since day one, and will work with Trump to deport violent illegals, keep men out of girls sports, and prosecute dangerous criminals.”
Both camps are spending big on getting these ads in front of voters.
According to estimated spend totals on broadcast TV, Robertson’s campaign has invested roughly $548,000 into the air war since November — while Mitchell has just now activated $145,000 behind his “All The Way” spot.
But there is plenty more where that came from, as Robertson’s campaign still tops $2 million and Mitchell’s at $2.7 million.
Blount County District Attorney Pamela Casey, the third GOP candidate in the field, also released a campaign video this week on social media.
